ORGL 690 Organizational Theory: Adaptation and Application

 

 

 

This class provides the opportunity for applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating processes to address organizational effectiveness. Connecting with concepts from the field of Organizational Theory (e.g. building on Bolman and Deal’s four frames and Sally Helgesen’s insights into the web of inclusion), participants broaden their understanding of how to positively impact organizational effectiveness through the field of Change Management.  Participants conduct an organizational analysis and diagnosis, research directed intervention possibilities, and engage organizational leader in the planning and development of action steps to support organizational effectiveness.
